Charlene Clouthier – Western Program Director- started with Hillside Meadows December, 2009. Charlene has 35+ years of riding and training experience. Her students compete across New England in AQHA competitions, where riders compete in everything from western pleasure, horsemanship and hunter under saddle. In addition to being MA Licensed, Charlene has a riding Master’s Certificate from Meredith Manor in Waverly, WV, where she was High Point Western Major for her class. Charlene and her students have won numerous awards at the local, regional and national levels. Charlene trains horses and riders of all levels and ages, from the very beginner to the competitive rider. Her aim is to emphasize the positive attributes of both horse and rider to maximize their potential as a team. Along with teaching lessons and showing she also runs our winter show series and summer camps.
